Red - Cotton Lisle
Gammarelli’s iconic red socks are a symbol of both their brand and also ours!
Not only are these red knee-high socks made to the highest standards, but they also have a rich history. Part of Gammarelli’s famous range of papal socks, these red pairs are often thought to be worn by the Pope himself. However, this is not the case, since the Pope wears Gammarelli’s special white socks while this striking shade of red is reserved for the cardinals! Wear this sublime red to brighten up your outfits in the most elegant and refined way possible.
It's hard not to admire the fine workmanship that goes into these knee-high socks which are knit in Italy from 100% cotton lisle, a high-quality and very light Egyptian cotton. Reinforced at the toe and heel, these seamless socks have been knit loop by loop for extra comfort and a smooth finish.
Knee-high socks have two main advantages: they won’t slip down, and they cover the entirety of your leg, creating the perfect transition between your trousers and shoes without showing any skin!
Composition: 100% Cotton Lisle
Height: Knee-High (below the knee)
We offer three sock heights:
1- Mid-Calf Socks
Height: mid-calf socks are long socks that reach just below the knee, right above the calf curve.
Advantages: they provide better hold and fully cover the shin. Their height is suitable to be worn with dress pants.

2- Crew Socks
Height: crew socks are short socks that reach the middle of the calf.
Advantage: they are suitable for people who wear slim-fit pants.

3- No-Show Socks
Height: no-show socks are very short socks. Two cutouts: one for sneakers that reaches below the ankle bone and one for loafers that reaches below the instep.
Advantage: no-show socks are invisible in sneakers or loafers but still protect your feet and shoes.
