THE PARISIAN MACHINE

Made to measure socks are an unnecessary luxury for the majority of customers. Indeed, with our vast array of socks, there’s almost certainly a sock for everyone. One could therefore be led to believe that our bespoke socks are not indispensable, and could even be considered unnecessary.


However, at Mes Chaussettes Rouges we are dedicated to catoring for all shapes and sizes and the most specific tastes.

If you’re after a particular size, fit, length or even a specific pattern for your socks, don’t hesitate to get in touch. The pricing and minimum quantities relate to the intricate workings of our machine. These figures can be found in the table below.

We have had the pleasure of fitting people who have struggled to find socks that fit them since they were children. For example, we were delighted to have Teddy Riner (a French two-time Olympic Judo champion) pay us a visit. It was an enjoyable challenge fitting this 6ft8 gentle giant, although his calf measurements will remain a professional secret!

One customer whose calves measure 61cm in circumference was able to find the perfect socks thanks to our in-house knitting machine. This American client wears and often recommends made-to-measure socks that fit him like a glove!

On the other hand, we have also had other customers that have had bespoke socks made to fit very thin calves as well.

Last but not least, bespoke socks let you use your imagination. Many customers ask us for colour combinations, initials or patterns that are close to their hearts. Luckily for them, our knitting machine in the heart of Paris can do just about anything.

Informations in the table bellow are valid for existing patterns (polka dots, vanisee, stripes, herringbone, birdseye, houndstooth, etc).

You can create a prototype for 100€. If you place an order, this amount will be deducted from the total.
