Who are we?
Our story
The story of Mes Chaussettes Rouges begins in 2009 when Jacques Tiberghien and Vincent Metzger, childhood friends, had the idea to market the iconic socks of the Roman tailor Gammarelli. Until then, it was necessary to go to Rome to obtain these socks, whose secret was shared by a small circle of insiders. The Mes Chaussettes Rouges website became the first to sell them online and attracted the attention of an international audience.
Over the years, the selection of socks expanded (materials, colors, uses, ...) and partnerships were established with famous brands like Bresciani, Gallo, and many others. Mes Chaussettes Rouges simultaneously launched its own brand, Mazarin, with which many products have been developed.
Today, more than 600 models are offered and new collections are launched each season, reflecting the ambition of Mes Chaussettes Rouges: to have the best pair of socks for every use!
Since 1798, the GAMMARELLI family has ensured the elegance of the popes. The legendary care that its master tailors bring to the making of these exceptional garments has made it renowned beyond borders.
A few years later, the MAZARIN GRAND FAISEUR house offered green socks to academicians. This very particular green is derived from the silk threads embroidered on the green garment, representing olive branches since 1801. Mes Chaussettes Rouges is happy and proud to exclusively present to you the GAMMARELLI and MAZARIN GRAND FAISEUR socks.

Whether in our store or on our website, we ensure that your experience is unique and enjoyable. Every order is carefully hand-prepared in our workshop in the Paris region. For us, details matter: the socks are scented for you and packaged in a red pouch. We include a handwritten note with every order, and sometimes we even exchange correspondence with our customers! Three years after the launch of the website, the Mes Chaussettes Rouges store opens its doors at 9 rue César Franck in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.
For you, the store is a special place to appreciate the wide range of socks, underwear, and accessories. For us, it is the best way to meet our dear customers, hear your needs, and adapt our products accordingly.
Mes Chaussettes Rouges is committed to offering a warm welcome to all our customers. We also organize events and showrooms throughout the year, where our customers have the opportunity to meet different brands and speakers.

Our custom sock service
Since 2019, Mes Chaussettes Rouges has exclusively offered the possibility to design your own custom-made socks worldwide. Our knitting machine, similar to those used by our manufacturers, is located just steps from the Parisian boutique.
In this unique workshop, we assist you in creating a series of personalized socks. Our customers can choose from numerous materials, patterns, and heights.
Our machine also allows us to produce limited editions of "knitted in Paris" socks, available for purchase.
