Winter knee-high socks for women from Mazarin's Bison range in thick wool.
Why opt for the Bison range?
For their composition: made of 86% warm and soft wool, these socks insulate your feet from the cold. They are reinforced with polyamide and elastane to ensure they will withstand any test and are flexible. All for your comfort!
For their finishing touches: these knee-high socks have fine ribs that give them a very elegant casual look. The ribbing also enhances the comfort of the socks thanks to their thickness.
Made in Italy, they are reinforced at the toe and heel and remeshed stitch by stitch (extra comfort thanks to the absence of a seam at the toes).
Note: the Bison range offers thicker and warmer socks than the Super-Durable range. They are ideal to wear with roomier winter shoes, such as big boots.

1- Knee-High Socks
Height: these socks are quite long, reaching just below the knee.
Advantages: they offer more support and cover the entire shin. Their height is suitable to be worn with suit trousers.
2- Mid-Calf Socks
Height: mid-calf socks are shorter socks that reach the middle of the calf.
Advantages: they are ideal for people who wear tight-fitting trousers.
3- No-Show Socks
Height: these socks are very short, meant to stay hidden inside of the shoe. We offer different models for different shoes.
Advantage: the no-show socks are invisible in the trainers or moccasins but still protect your feet and shoes.
For socks made from vegetal fibres:
Cotton lisle, Cotton & Linen:
- Washing: by hand or in the washing machine, preferably cold (30 or 40° maximum) with a spin cycle between 600 and 1000 rpm).
- Wash the socks inside out and in a wash bag to avoid lint and preserve the colours.
- Tumble dry and ironing: strongly discouraged.
- Drying on a flat surface recommended to preserve the quality of the fibres and the natural shape of the socks.
Cotton Sea Island & Silk :
- Washing: by hand (recommended) or in washing machine (cold 30°, with a spin cycle of 600 rpm maximum).
- Wash the socks inside out and in a wash bag to avoid lint and preserve the colours.
- Tumble dry and ironing: strongly discouraged.
- Drying on a flat surface recommended to preserve the quality of the fibres and the natural shape of the socks.
For socks made of animal fibres:
Wool merinos, cashmere, vicuna, camel hair :
- Washing: by hand (recommended) or in washing machine (cold 30°, with a spin cycle of 600 rpm maximum).
- Wash the socks inside out and in a wash bag to avoid lint and preserve the colours.
- Tumble dry and ironing: strongly discouraged.
- Drying on a flat surface recommended.
N.B.: when washing for the first time, it is advisable not to mix light and dark coloured socks.
