Black - Super-Durable Cotton Lisle
Introducing this pair of knee-high socks in Super-Durable cotton lisle from the French brand Mazarin!
These are the strongest knee-high socks on the market. The Super-Durable range has been designed by Mazarin to resist friction over time thanks to the addition of polyamide. Their strength has been tested and approved by the world-renowned Martindale wear test.
Made in Italy, these socks are reinforced at the toe and heel and remeshed stitch by stitch to avoid the discomfort of a central seam at the toe.
Their black colour makes them a staple piece in any sock drawer. Often, people think this shade is simply a default option when in reality black is the representation of elegance and refinement. Black socks blend in perfectly with darker outfits, providing a discreet and chic transition between trousers and shoes.

Height: Knee-high (below the knee)
We offer three heights of socks:
1- Knee-High Socks
Height: these socks are quite long, reaching just below the knee.
Advantages: they offer more support and cover the entire shin. Their height is suitable to be worn with suit trousers.
2- Mid-Calf Socks
Height: mid-calf socks are shorter socks that reach the middle of the calf.
Advantages: they are ideal for people who wear tight-fitting trousers.
3- No-Show Socks
Height: these socks are very short, meant to stay hidden inside of the shoe. We offer different models for different shoes.
Advantage: the no-show socks are invisible in the trainers or moccasins but still protect your feet and shoes.
For socks made from plant-based materials:
Cotton lisle, Cotton & Linen:
- Washing: machine wash at a maximum of 40°C
- Spin cycle: between 600 and 1000 rpm;
- Ideally, wash the socks inside out and in a laundry bag to prevent pilling and preserve the colours;
- Drying: tumble drying and ironing are strongly discouraged;
- Air dry, with socks hung up or laid flat. Recommended to preserve the quality of the fibres and the natural shape of the socks.
Cotton Sea Island & Silk :
- Washing: machine wash cold or up to 30°C (ideally on a delicate cycle)
- Spin cycle: maximum 600 rpm;
- Ideally, wash the socks inside out and in a laundry bag to prevent pilling and preserve the colours;
- Drying: tumble drying and ironing are strongly discouraged;
- Air dry, with socks hung up or laid flat. Recommended to preserve the quality of the fibres and the natural shape of the socks.
For socks made of animal fibres:
Wool merinos, cashmere, vicuna, camel hair :
- Washing: machine wash cold or up to a maximum of 30°C
- Spin cycle: maximum 600 rpm;
- Ideally, wash the socks inside out and in a laundry bag to prevent pilling and preserve the colours;
- Drying: tumble drying and ironing are strongly discouraged;
- Air dry, with socks hung up or laid flat. Recommended to preserve the quality of the fibres and the natural shape of the socks.
N.B:
- For the first wash, it is recommended not to mix light-coloured and dark-coloured socks.
- When in doubt about which cycle to use, hand washing is always effective and safe for delicate materials.
