Navy Blue & Grey - Cotton
We are happy to take the sustainability issue a step further by using sustainable and organic cotton for the first time. And this cotton is also terrifically soft. Be warned, you won't want to take them off at night!
Discover our Super-Durable range, this time with organic cotton, in a grey and navy blue striped pattern.
Our organic cotton comes from an initiative called COTTONFORLIFE which improves the transparency, traceability and sustainability of Egyptian cotton. Furthermore, this organic cotton is stamped "Extra Long Staple". This length of fibre greatly improves the regularity of the thread and its life span. But we're sure that it's the softness that will surprise you most once you get ahold of these socks.
The cultivation of organic and sustainable cotton uses natural compost instead of chemical fertilisers and pesticides, reduces water consumption and organises crop rotation so as not to impoverish the soil in the long term.
These are the efforts made during cotton production. Subsequently, for the production of the yarn, the chemicals and dyes are free of heavy metals and hazardous substances that could pollute the local environment. But because there are not only biological but also human considerations, this programme also promotes decent wages, protection through education for children and a fair position for women.
