Mottled grey woollen socks for women from Mazarin's winter range Bison.
These socks for women are a knee-high model and, like all the pairs from the Bison range, they are winter socks:
- Warm. Made of 68% wool, a material renowned for its insulating properties, these socks will keep you nice and toasty. They are also super soft!
- Thick. Thicker than Super-Durable socks, this pair is perfect to wear with bigger, roomier shoes, like winter boots. The thickness and the ribbing on these grey socks give the model a casual look.
Given their dark, mottled grey colour, these knee-high socks go well with everything, from jeans to black or even navy blue trousers. Real winter socks, elegant and easy to wear!
They offer exceptional finishing touches: made in Italy, the socks from the Bison range are reinforced with polyamide and elastane, synthetic materials that provide strength against wear and tear and flexibility for more comfort. They are also reinforced at the toe and heel and remeshed stitch by stitch (no seams at the toe for extra comfort).

1- Knee-High Socks
Height: these socks are quite long, reaching just below the knee.
Advantages: they offer more support and cover the entire shin. Their height is suitable to be worn with suit trousers.
2- Mid-Calf Socks
Height: mid-calf socks are shorter socks that reach the middle of the calf.
Advantages: they are ideal for people who wear tight-fitting trousers.
3- No-Show Socks
Height: these socks are very short, meant to stay hidden inside of the shoe. We offer different models for different shoes.
Advantage: the no-show socks are invisible in the trainers or moccasins but still protect your feet and shoes.
For socks made from vegetal fibres:
Cotton lisle, Cotton & Linen:
- Washing: by hand or in the washing machine, preferably cold (30 or 40° maximum) with a spin cycle between 600 and 1000 rpm).
- Wash the socks inside out and in a wash bag to avoid lint and preserve the colours.
- Tumble dry and ironing: strongly discouraged.
- Drying on a flat surface recommended to preserve the quality of the fibres and the natural shape of the socks.
Cotton Sea Island & Silk :
- Washing: by hand (recommended) or in washing machine (cold 30°, with a spin cycle of 600 rpm maximum).
- Wash the socks inside out and in a wash bag to avoid lint and preserve the colours.
- Tumble dry and ironing: strongly discouraged.
- Drying on a flat surface recommended to preserve the quality of the fibres and the natural shape of the socks.
For socks made of animal fibres:
Wool merinos, cashmere, vicuna, camel hair :
- Washing: by hand (recommended) or in washing machine (cold 30°, with a spin cycle of 600 rpm maximum).
- Wash the socks inside out and in a wash bag to avoid lint and preserve the colours.
- Tumble dry and ironing: strongly discouraged.
- Drying on a flat surface recommended.
N.B.: when washing for the first time, it is advisable not to mix light and dark coloured socks.
