Mottled green - Linen
Mid-height socks in mottled green linen, by Mazarin.
Linen socks have many qualities:
- They are breathable, meaning the material dries naturally much faster than cotton or woollens. The mesh of linen socks is also more airy.
- They are pleasant to wear. Although "drier" to the touch, linen tends to soften in contact with moisture. That's why the fabric becomes softer with each wash!
- Finally, it's a sustainable material. Growing linen requires far less water than growing cotton.
Mazarin linen socks are knitted in Italy and reknit stitch by stitch. The yarn is reinforced with polyamide, a synthetic material that gives this pair of socks greater resistance to abrasion.
