Navy Blue - Super-Durable Wool
You are looking at a timeless piece! A pair of navy blue knee-high socks made of soft, durable wool! Perfect to wear with any of your outfits for an extra touch of elegance.
These socks will fulfil all your expectations:
They are very resistant because they are reinforced with a polyamide thread.
They are warm thanks to the exceptional quality of the wool, as well as easy to care for since they can be washed at up to 40°. This is because the merino wool used in this pair has been treated to ensure it can be washed at such temperatures, which isn’t something we normally see in wool.
Slim and fitted, remeshed stitch by stitch, reinforced at the toe and heel, made in Italy, their resistance to wear has been proven by the Martindale tests.
Can be washed at 40° - Do not tumble dry.
Composition: 72% Wool - 26% Polyamide - 2% Elastane
Height: knee-high (below the knee)
We offer three heights of socks:
1- Knee-High Socks
Height: these socks are quite long, reaching just below the knee.
Advantages: they offer more support and cover the entire shin. Their height is suitable to be worn with suit trousers.
2- Mid-Calf Socks
Height: mid-calf socks are shorter socks that reach the middle of the calf.
Advantages: they are ideal for people who wear tight-fitting trousers.
3- No-Show Socks
Height: these socks are very short, meant to stay hidden inside of the shoe. We offer different models for different shoes.
Advantage: the no-show socks are invisible in the trainers or moccasins but still protect your feet and shoes.
For socks made from vegetal fibres:
Cotton lisle, Cotton & Linen:
- Washing: by hand or in the washing machine, preferably cold (30 or 40° maximum) with a spin cycle between 600 and 1000 rpm).
- Wash the socks inside out and in a wash bag to avoid lint and preserve the colours.
- Tumble dry and ironing: strongly discouraged.
- Drying on a flat surface recommended to preserve the quality of the fibres and the natural shape of the socks.
Cotton Sea Island & Silk :
- Washing: by hand (recommended) or in washing machine (cold 30°, with a spin cycle of 600 rpm maximum).
- Wash the socks inside out and in a wash bag to avoid lint and preserve the colours.
- Tumble dry and ironing: strongly discouraged.
- Drying on a flat surface recommended to preserve the quality of the fibres and the natural shape of the socks.
For socks made of animal fibres:
Wool merinos, cashmere, vicuna, camel hair :
- Washing: by hand (recommended) or in washing machine (cold 30°, with a spin cycle of 600 rpm maximum).
- Wash the socks inside out and in a wash bag to avoid lint and preserve the colours.
- Tumble dry and ironing: strongly discouraged.
- Drying on a flat surface recommended.
N.B.: when washing for the first time, it is advisable not to mix light and dark coloured socks.
