Denim & Electric Blue - Birdseye - Super-Durable Cotton Lisle
As always, Mazarin skillfully combines exceptional cotton lisle with the outstanding properties of synthetic fibres to create knee-high Super-Durable socks, this time with a lovely birdseye pattern in denim and electric blue.
Wearing Super-Durable socks is choosing elegance without compromising on comfort and quality! This pair of denim and electric blue shoes will combine perfectly with tone-on-tone blue, as well as brown, grey and even lighter colours, such as beige, for contrasting detail. The birdseye pattern is an elegant, unique and subtle way of combining these two shades of blue.
Like all the pieces in the Super-Durable range, these knee-high socks are made in Italy, reinforced at the toe and heel to increase the resistance to friction and remeshed stitch by stitch.
Composition: 72% Cotton lisle - 26% Polyamide - 2% Elastane
Height: Knee-high (below the knee)
We offer three heights of socks:
1- Knee-High Socks
Height: these socks are quite long, reaching just below the knee.
Advantages: they offer more support and cover the entire shin. Their height is suitable to be worn with suit trousers.
2- Mid-Calf Socks
Height: mid-calf socks are shorter socks that reach the middle of the calf.
Advantages: they are ideal for people who wear tight-fitting trousers.
3- No-Show Socks
Height: these socks are very short, meant to stay hidden inside of the shoe. We offer different models for different shoes.
Advantage: the no-show socks are invisible in the trainers or moccasins but still protect your feet and shoes.
For socks made from plant-based materials:
Cotton lisle, Cotton & Linen:
- Washing: machine wash at a maximum of 40°C
- Spin cycle: between 600 and 1000 rpm;
- Ideally, wash the socks inside out and in a laundry bag to prevent pilling and preserve the colours;
- Drying: tumble drying and ironing are strongly discouraged;
- Air dry, with socks hung up or laid flat. Recommended to preserve the quality of the fibres and the natural shape of the socks.
Cotton Sea Island & Silk :
- Washing: machine wash cold or up to 30°C (ideally on a delicate cycle)
- Spin cycle: maximum 600 rpm;
- Ideally, wash the socks inside out and in a laundry bag to prevent pilling and preserve the colours;
- Drying: tumble drying and ironing are strongly discouraged;
- Air dry, with socks hung up or laid flat. Recommended to preserve the quality of the fibres and the natural shape of the socks.
For socks made of animal fibres:
Wool merinos, cashmere, vicuna, camel hair :
- Washing: machine wash cold or up to a maximum of 30°C
- Spin cycle: maximum 600 rpm;
- Ideally, wash the socks inside out and in a laundry bag to prevent pilling and preserve the colours;
- Drying: tumble drying and ironing are strongly discouraged;
- Air dry, with socks hung up or laid flat. Recommended to preserve the quality of the fibres and the natural shape of the socks.
N.B:
- For the first wash, it is recommended not to mix light-coloured and dark-coloured socks.
- When in doubt about which cycle to use, hand washing is always effective and safe for delicate materials.
