Discover our range of yak socks. Unique! Yak down is both very fine and very warm. This fascinating animal lives at high altitude and develops down to protect it from the freezing cold of the high plateaux. The yak is found throughout the Himalayas and Central Asia.
This animal, which can weigh up to a tonne, produces between 300 and 500 grams of top-quality wool. The diameter of the fibres in yak wool is between 15 and 20 microns.
The thickness/wool ratio is excellent, although the softness of these yak socks is more masculine than that of alpaca or cashmere.
The yak wool socks are made from the finest yak wool.
