# Why claim these are the strongest socks on the market?

These socks are the strongest on the market for two reasons:

Their composition: the combination of the best wool and synthetic fibers (polyamide & elastane) creates a blend of materials unmatched in terms of wear resistance;
Their success in the Martindale test: this world-renowned abrasion test was applied to the Super-strong range, which achieved the best abrasion resistance results among a sample of 15 pairs from premium brands. That is a resistance of nearly 49,000 cycles, a result that cannot be converted into a number of steps but corresponds to very intensive use of the material.

# Why add synthetic materials?

Synthetic materials provide durability to the socks. We chose polyamide for its toughness – it is the material used to make boat mooring ropes – and elastane because it gives a neat appearance and a smooth, wrinkle-free look to the sock.

# When to wear the Super-strong wool socks?

The Super-strong wool socks are mainly worn in winter. In terms of thickness, they fall between merino wool and 90% wool socks: they are thick enough to keep you warm and resist abrasion while still allowing you to slip them into all types of shoes. The mid-calf Super-strong wool models are available in both solid colors and patterns (colored ribs or caviar).
