Violet - Merino Wool
These purple knee-high socks are made of merino wool (80%) and nylon (20%) and are produced by Gammarelli, who has served as tailors to the Papacy since 1798. The perfect pair for a mild winter's day.
While Gammarelli are perhaps best known for their red socks, there’s plenty of history in their purple socks too. These purple socks are made for the bishops, who are dressed head to toe in this special shade of purple. This bright colour will add a delicate touch of style and originality to your darker outfits (black, navy blue, grey).
Knitted in Italy, these socks are woven from merino wool. Gammarelli’s merino wool is a particularly fine but warm, soft wool, perfect for mild winter days. Thanks to their thinness, these socks can easily be slipped into street shoes without your feet feeling too cramped.
You will love these socks because of their finishing touches; reinforced at the toe and heel, these seamless socks have been remeshed stitch by stitch for extra comfort and a smooth finish.
This model is only available in a knee-high length.
