For the ladies, thick woollen socks from the range Bison, designed by the French brand Mazarin!
The Bison range of mid-calf (short) socks is distinguished by:
- Thickness. Thicker than Super-Durable socks, the Bison range is ideal to wear in the colder months with big, roomy shoes.
- Warmth. Made of 68% merino wool, a material renowned for its insulating properties, these socks will keep your feet warm all through the winter while ensuring a particularly soft feel.
- Details. The socks from the Bison range feature wide, thick ribs that make them even more comfortable to wear.
- Colour. The shade of navy blue used is very elegant and can be easily worn with dark-coloured trousers (navy blue, black, grey, jeans, brown, green) and both black and brown shoes.
These socks are reinforced with polyamide and elastane, providing strength and flexibility respectively. They are also reinforced at the toe and heel and remeshed stitch by stitch to ensure maximum comfort, as this technique avoids a thick central seam at the toes.

1- Knee-High Socks
Height: these socks are quite long, reaching just below the knee.
Advantages: they offer more support and cover the entire shin. Their height is suitable to be worn with suit trousers.
2- Mid-Calf Socks
Height: mid-calf socks are shorter socks that reach the middle of the calf.
Advantages: they are ideal for people who wear tight-fitting trousers.
3- No-Show Socks
Height: these socks are very short, meant to stay hidden inside of the shoe. We offer different models for different shoes.
Advantage: the no-show socks are invisible in the trainers or moccasins but still protect your feet and shoes.
For socks made from vegetal fibres:
Cotton lisle, Cotton & Linen:
- Washing: by hand or in the washing machine, preferably cold (30 or 40° maximum) with a spin cycle between 600 and 1000 rpm).
- Wash the socks inside out and in a wash bag to avoid lint and preserve the colours.
- Tumble dry and ironing: strongly discouraged.
- Drying on a flat surface recommended to preserve the quality of the fibres and the natural shape of the socks.
Cotton Sea Island & Silk :
- Washing: by hand (recommended) or in washing machine (cold 30°, with a spin cycle of 600 rpm maximum).
- Wash the socks inside out and in a wash bag to avoid lint and preserve the colours.
- Tumble dry and ironing: strongly discouraged.
- Drying on a flat surface recommended to preserve the quality of the fibres and the natural shape of the socks.
For socks made of animal fibres:
Wool merinos, cashmere, vicuna, camel hair :
- Washing: by hand (recommended) or in washing machine (cold 30°, with a spin cycle of 600 rpm maximum).
- Wash the socks inside out and in a wash bag to avoid lint and preserve the colours.
- Tumble dry and ironing: strongly discouraged.
- Drying on a flat surface recommended.
N.B.: when washing for the first time, it is advisable not to mix light and dark coloured socks.
