Dear Friends and Clients.
After every newsletter, some of you send us messages of encouragement. This could be through a kind reply or even an order, which is a form of endorsement that suits us just as well. We try to do two things with our newsletters.
Our first goal is to jog your memory if you ever happen to be running low on socks when this letter arrives at your doorstep. For, while our newsletters are never commercially themed, we would be lying if we said that they had no commercial purpose (let's keep this little secret between us). To give you an idea of the scale, on a mailing day, our sales increase sixfold, and the next day they increase threefold.
The other goal of these newsletters is to create a sense of camaraderie. Many brands seek to create the impression that their clients form part of a “club,” but we prefer our idea of community.
Firstly, because our humor sometimes borders on barracks banter (in the best case scenario).
Secondly, because a “club” implies access to special privileges and cut-price deals. Those who are familiar with our emails know that they have never included even the whisper of a concession. Somewhat amusingly, Black Friday is often an excellent sales day for us, because some customers who were browsing for a possible discount end up placing the order they had planned to make when they see that our prices haven't changed.
Finally, a ‘club’ implies exclusivity. However, we are too commercially-minded to select ‘members’, so instead welcome everyone with open arms. In short, these newsletters seek to foster a real ‘esprit de corps’, so that each of you can get to know our company better and, when you meet a fellow sock lover, can discuss our latest sartorial ventures with a sense of camaraderie.

Snow is falling, a calm and unchanging dance
The weather forecast is calling for the first flakes of the season in Paris this weekend. Whether they reach your doorstep today or in a few days, wool socks will in any case allow you to enjoy this serene little spectacle with warm feet.
Mazarin wools carry the “TEC” label, for "Total Easy Care" which means they can be machine-washed on a wool cycle without fear of turning them into little elf socks. They are also "Mulesing Free" although this information is probably of less interest to you than to the sheep concerned.

Although we feel as though we may be repeating ourselves when we often mention this range with its proven robustness, we regularly meet customers who are unaware it even exists. The desire to convey information can sometimes bring one dangerously close to sounding heavy-handed.
