But here we are. The past few months have kept us on edge. The recent U.S. elections have put the issue of trade borders back at the heart of the debate. Discussions about customs duties are, depending on the day, either hitting the brakes or stepping on the gas.

Some take it as one more reason to visit Paris, others order below the threshold to avoid duties, or take advantage of a friend passing through to receive their order.
