These aubergine-coloured knee-high socks from the brand Mazarin are made from 100% Egyptian cotton lisle, manufactured in Italy.
Two main advantages of knee-high socks:
- They offer a better grip around the leg, ensuring that the socks don't slip through the day.
- They cover the entire calf, preventing your skin from showing if your trousers rise up.
The lovely aubergine shade brings a colourful touch to your formal outfits with sobriety and elegance. It's a good alternative to more traditional colours, such as navy blue, black or grey.
This pair is reinforced at the toe and heel and remeshed stitch by stitch for an exceptional finish.
Composition: 100% Cotton Lisle
Height: Knee-high (below the knee)
Product Reference : 6112216809638
We offer three sock heights:
1- Mid-Calf Socks
Height: mid-calf socks are long socks that reach just below the knee, right above the calf curve.
Advantages: they provide better hold and fully cover the shin. Their height is suitable to be worn with dress pants.

2- Crew Socks
Height: crew socks are short socks that reach the middle of the calf.
Advantage: they are suitable for people who wear slim-fit pants.

3- No-Show Socks
Height: no-show socks are very short socks. Two cutouts: one for sneakers that reaches below the ankle bone and one for loafers that reaches below the instep.
Advantage: no-show socks are invisible in sneakers or loafers but still protect your feet and shoes.

Black socks: really essential?
Black socks are often presented as an absolute basic… but is it really the best choice? More versatile, navy blue often offers a more elegant alternative, while very dark shades remain easy to match—provided you don’t overlook certain trouser/shoe combinations.
Before automatically opting for black, it’s better to understand its limits and uses: in two minutes, you’ll see that even classics can hold some surprises… with, as a bonus, an unexpected detour into French rock.
