Why claim these are the strongest socks on the market?

These socks are the strongest on the market for two reasons:

Their composition: the combination of the finest Scottish yarn and synthetic fibers (polyamide & elastane) creates a blend of materials unmatched in terms of wear resistance;
Their success in the Martindale test: this world-renowned abrasion test was applied to the Super-strong range, which achieved the best friction resistance results among a sample of 15 pairs from premium brands. This corresponds to nearly 49,000 cycles, a result that cannot be converted into a number of steps but indicates very intensive use of the material.

Why add synthetic materials?

Synthetic materials provide durability to the socks. In the case of our Super-strong socks, we use polyamide, mainly integrated into the toes, soles, and heels. We chose polyamide for its great toughness and exceptional flexibility (it is the material used to make boat mooring lines). Elastane increases the fit and flexibility of the socks.

When to wear the Super-strong socks?

The Super-strong Scottish yarn socks can be worn year-round if you’re not sensitive to cold! Slightly thicker than 100% Scottish yarn socks, they slip easily into all types of shoes without wrinkling. The addition of synthetic materials makes them slightly warmer, but if you’re sensitive to cold, they won’t be thick enough for winter temperatures. The variety of models and patterns allows you to find the perfect pairs to wear in a professional environment or for less formal occasions.
