# Caring for Your Pair of Basket Socks

Basket socks are quality cotton socks but with the particularity of having synthetic bands at the heel. These two elements must be taken into account when washing and drying basket socks:

Washing: the Egyptian cotton used for these socks is extra soft, so we recommend washing at 30°C and spinning at 1,200 rpm to preserve its fluffy feel and the quality of the cotton fibers.
Drying: to preserve the softness and shape of the cotton as well as the slightly adhesive anti-slip bands, we advise drying them flat and in the open air. Tumble drying is therefore not recommended.

Note: for wool basket socks, prefer washing on a wool or delicate cycle at 30°C and spinning at a maximum of 600 rpm to maintain the shape of the wool fibers, which are more sensitive to water temperature and spin force. Drying should be done naturally and not in a tumble dryer.
