Insulating Thick Socks

The thick socks in this collection are either wool socks or cashmere socks, two materials renowned both for their softness but especially for their insulating and thermoregulating abilities:

The wool fibers in thick socks retain body heat and thus insulate the feet from the cold.
The thermoregulating aspect of wool also allows the feet to breathe, which gives wool socks antibacterial properties.

The advantage of thick wool socks for men? They retain moisture within their fibers, which helps keep feet dry even when sweating. Durable Thick Socks

All our thick socks are mainly made of natural materials and reinforced with high-quality synthetic fibers known to increase the longevity of socks. The two materials used to ensure the durability and quality of thick socks are:

Polyamide: blended with natural fibers, polyamide enhances the strength of the materials. In fact, boat mooring ropes are made from polyamide!
Elastane: known for its elasticity, elastane gives socks more flexibility and support. Socks reinforced with elastane therefore have an impeccable fit on the leg.

Additionally, all models of thick low socks have reinforced knitting at the toe and heel, providing extra material thickness in these areas frequently subjected to friction.

Note: the advantage of mid-calf thick socks also lies in the fact that they do not rise too high on the leg. Thus, you can also wear them with slim pants in winter without leaving marks on your leg or affecting your comfort in your clothes.

# Caring for your thick socks

Thick socks here are made from relatively delicate warm winter materials (wool and cashmere). Here are our care tips to preserve your socks:

Washing: thick wool and cashmere socks should be machine washed on wool or delicate cycles that meet the following criteria: wash at 30° and a maximum of 600 rpm.
Drying: prefer air drying flat to maintain the natural shape of the fibers.
