#Why claim that these are the strongest socks on the market? # When should you avoid wearing them?
To claim that a sock is strong, we looked for a neutral and indisputable standard that allows comparing the durability of several socks. For this, we used the reference abrasion test: the Martindale test. The machine applies friction and counts the number of cycles completed until the thread breaks.
The super-strong socks made of 72% Egyptian cotton are mostly cotton and therefore do not have any special insulating properties. When it is very cold, they are not the most suitable model. In very hot weather, above 35°C, these socks are not the most recommended. For the super-strong wool socks, you will be too hot wearing them in summer!
